From Monday 8th April 2019 we will have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner working with us.  These nurses are experienced in dealing with coughs, colds, sore throat, musculoskeletal problems and many more conditions.  When you are looking for an appointment the reception staff will ask for some details and this will allow us to make sure you are seen by the correct person.  This is a necessary part of triaging appointments so please co-operate with the staff.

When We Are Closed

out_of_hoursYou can contact the Lanarkshire out of hours service by telephoning the practice when you will be given the number for emergencies or call NHS 24 (see below). You will be given advice or directed to see the appropriate person. Please only use the service for emergencies.

NHS 24

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 24 on freephone telephone number 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
